Scientific Activities
- Dr. Natalia Mikhaylova is constantly engaged in scientific research and academic activities. Her primary scientific medical interests lie in the field of non-surgery approach to aesthetic defects correction and developing innovative products for better life quality. First and foremost, she is focused on injection methods and hyaluronic acid products in dermatology application.
- Natalia Mikhaylova is the author of innovative methods and educational programs in therapy, aesthetic medicine and cosmetology, as well as new techniques in mesotherapy and contour correction. She initiated the creation of various new injection products for aesthetic medicine, therapy, dentistry and cosmetology. Mikhaylova holds 25+ patents for inventions and has obtained numerous international grants.

At the premises of the Enikolopov Institute of Synthetic Polymeric Materials (ispm.ru) and the Martinex International Scientific and Research Center of Innovative Technologies, Dr. Mikhaylova has developed an
innovative class of injection preparations, Hyalrepair® (bioreparants). The formula is based on solid-phase modification of
hyaluronic acid with vitamins, amino acids and peptides, firmly cross-linked to the hyaluronic acid molecule thanks to the use
of Mikhaylova’s innovative patented method.
This molecular structure keeps hyaluronic acid and essential bioregulators in the skin for a long time. Unlike the regular mesotherapy and biorevitalisation cocktails, Hyalrepair® preparations enable the specialist to handle complex aesthetic challenges through launching the body’s natural reparation processes. -
Dr. Mikhaylova also supervised the scientific development of other new injection product ranges, including the Hyalrepair®
Vitasome complex, Hyalrepair® chondroreparant и Hyalrepair® Dental.
Since they had a breakthrough action mechanism and much better efficiency compared to the existing products, Dr. Natalia Mikhaylova introduced a new term, “bioreparation”, in 2010. She conducted extensive clinical experimental reserch of bioreparants’ effect on skin, demonstrating the outstanding efficiency and safety profile of Hyalrepair® preparations. - Dr. Natalia Mikhaylova contributed to countrywide programs for the development of medical industry in Russia up to 2020, the presidential nuclear medicine program and the development of products for the treatment of various cancer types including skin cancer.
